What is emotion? Emotion is a part of attitude as a whole, and it is the attitude and experience of people on whether objective things meet their own needs. Specifically expressed as happiness, excitement, joy, love, happiness, hatred, disgust, beauty, etc…

In our daily life, good design has an increasingly greater impact on our lives, and the rapid development of technology has allowed each of us to enjoy the beauty and convenience of life. Mobile phones have become an indispensable part of our lives, so:

Mobile phone is ______ to you?

The secret weapon for picking up girls?

A family hotline for greeting family and friends?

Green channel for texting?

Pocket PC that can surf the Internet anytime, anywhere?

Image endorsement of identity and taste?

These may be synonymous with the functionality of mobile phones, so what does it mean?

Personally, the mobile phone is a medium of emotion. It has a beautiful appearance, sweet voice, wireless emotion, and selfless love. It can communicate with people, understand what people in another corner of the world are doing, do not have to look forward to news from friends because of geographical distance, and can Say good night to her (him) in the middle of the night…

This is the power of emotion. Through the adjustment of design ingredients, our emotions can be transmitted more simply and quickly.

Just like the well-known Apple mobile phone, the impression about it has long been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Among the many commercials, do you remember this plot:

Silence is better than sound here. It gives mankind the most simple and true emotions, allowing everyone to feel the warmth from the “heart” and the temperature of “love” at that moment.

“Emotional” design everywhere in life

Example 1: In 2009-reddot design award-winning design, in order to meet the functionality of traffic lights, a more user-friendly design of the time indicator. With this careful design, whether you are a driver or a passerby, even if you are color-blind, you can rest assured knowing when you can move forward.

Example 2: The quasi-material design of iBooks, the most intuitive feeling: e-books are no longer a cold screen full of text. Here, you can truly hold a book, with a cordial visual sense, a real sense of touch, and a real sense of hearing. Let the most primitive emotions be extended by the real experience in this small screen. No longer reject e-books from the “heart” because of unreality.

Is there a sense of familiarity and intimacy? When the real object is transformed into a design element, with emotions displayed in front of the user, and leaping on the screen, our users will be “pleased” by “moved” and then “attracted”!
It can be seen that a design full of emotions can bring people spiritual touch, it can make the product full of vitality, and can make users enjoy happiness and joy in the process of using the product. To paraphrase a buzzword:

“Design requires love”

The design naturally connects users and products through the resonance between emotions and people, allowing users to use the product with a pleasant mood, so as to strengthen the experience of the product and the brand! As the emotional director, the designer vividly shows it through the design technique, and impresses the user with an emotional design!

Life needs enthusiasm, and design needs “heart” affection! Design works that do not allow users to resonate emotionally are boring, powerless, and nonsensical! People, the most primitive emotions are always the purest, most true and permanent.
