Edge flanges are very commonly used commands in the design of sheet metal parts, but edge flanges will cause corner problems.

Type 1: The most recommended one. When making edge flanges, check the trimming side bending option. You can automatically cut off the extra corners.

The second type: Use conventional extrusion, select the upper face, click on the sketch to draw, and click to convert the entity reference. Exit the sketch.

The condition of stretch cut is selected to a vertex, and the same effect can also be cut.

Type 3: We need to expand, then click insert, sheet metal, corner cutting, and select the edge of the corner.

Check the center, adjust the size, and click OK. However, this method will only be reflected when the picture is released and the feature is still compressed when exiting the flattening, and will not be displayed, so it is generally not used. But when there are special corners where the first and second types cannot be used, this method should be considered.
